Fees & Payment
At Green Leaf Counseling & Coaching, our mission is to support clients in achieving meaningful, positive changes through therapy and related services. While each individual’s goals may differ, common outcomes include enhanced mental well-being, increased self-awareness, improved coping strategies, and stronger relationships. Our ultimate aim is to empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives.

Insurance Update – Beginning January 2025
Starting January 2025, we will initiate the process to accept insurance directly. This means clients will only be responsible for their insurance carrier’s copay at the time of service. To assist us in accommodating your plan, please inform us of your insurance provider.

For inquiries about billing, payment methods, or insurance, please contact our billing specialist, Alex at Covault Medical Billing:

Fees
Each therapy or coaching "one hour" session is in actuality 50 minutes long, allowing our professionals time to prepare for subsequent appointments.

To ensure accessibility and affordability, our fees operate on a sliding scale based on household income.

Fees for services such as coaching, consulting, clergy coaching, presentations, and workshops are determined individually. Extended sessions are available and billed in additional 30-minute increments.
Payment
Cash, check, credit cards or Venmo are accepted at the beginning of each
therapy session. Flexible spending, health savings accounts, and other
similar plans are also accepted.

Insurance
Beginning in January 2025, Green Leaf Counseling & Coaching will begin the process of accepting insurance directly. This means that, for eligible services, clients will only be responsible for their insurance copay at the time of the session. To help us prepare, please let us know which insurance provider you use so we can explore whether your plan can be accommodated.

Note: Most insurance plans do not cover couples or family therapy, as these services are typically considered non-medically necessary under insurance guidelines. Coverage is generally limited to sessions focused on the treatment of a diagnosed mental health condition for one individual.

If Green Leaf is not in-network with your plan, we’re happy to provide a superbill—a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

We are also committed to making therapy accessible. If you have concerns about affording services, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we may be able to help.
Cancellation Policy
Due to a high demand for our services, we require a 24-hour notice for any cancellations or rescheduling of appointments, including initial intake sessions. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in a cancellation fee, determined by the type of appointment scheduled.

We understand that emergencies can occur. If you find yourself in such a situation, please contact us as soon as possible.
